Our Founder: Filomena Arends
“A Woman in a Man’s World”
Filomena Arends, who had over 60 years of experience in the beauty industry, developed the GINAMARIE Product line. The inspiration behind wanting to develop a skincare line came from losing her first husband at a very early age from Melanoma. Filomena was widowed at age 30. In the early 1960s-70s, she owned a cosmetology school and Woman’s World Spa. At Women’s World, women would receive facials, body wraps, new hairstyles, makeovers, nutrition classes, yoga, and more.
With each entrepreneurship endeavor, she was moving toward the development of a new skincare line that could be used by women, men, and children. Filomena was on a mission to create products that were simple and effective and took a commonsense approach to care for our skin, creating the company named after her daughter, Gina Marie. She formulated our skincare line to be compatible with skin as an organ ensuring that each product is pH-balanced, water-based, gentle, antioxidant-rich, and made with naturally derived ingredients.
Meet: Gina Marie
Gina Marie McGuire, is the CEO of the GINAMARIE and GM Revolution skincare lines, as well as Continuing Education, Inc. A licensed aesthetician with over 36 years of experience, she has dedicated her career to transforming the skincare industry through education, innovation, and product development.
Gina Marie’s approach is holistic and health-focused, simplifying skincare while prioritizing real results over marketing hype. Inspired by her mother’s legacy, she is dedicated to elevating the industry, setting higher standards for care, and creating products and education that empower professionals and support skin that is truly healthy, resilient, and long-lasting.

GINAMARIE Products have been formulated with extensive research and development in selecting ingredients that deliver the very best and most effective products in the skincare industry. Forty-four years ago GINAMARIE made the decision to take a holistic approach to treat skin, with the understanding that skin is the largest, uninterrupted organ of the body. The GINAMARIE professional skincare line is predominantly water-based, pH balanced, antioxidant-rich, and is formulated with ingredients that are naturally derived without animal testing. Our holistic skincare line topically duplicates what the body does internally in a healthy, non-aggressive way while delivering immediate results.

In 2020, Gina Marie & Michael McGuire launched a professional men’s skincare line, GM Revolution. Both mother and son recognized that the trend of men’s skincare was growing and saw the need to normalize men’s skincare through a simple yet, effective line. Men’s skin health plays a pivotal role in the esthetic industry and allows for tremendous growth and opportunity for skin specialists.
