For the last 45 years, I’ve watched trends, products, and treatments come and go. Remember when using abrasive scrubs to exfoliate was considered a good skincare practice, even for acne clients? Scary to think that not only were consumers using these types of products but so were the skin experts, never knowing they were compromising skin.
Another question: Would you scrub your heart?
My mission is to simplify it all. Our lives, our treatment room, and the products we use at home. Yes, I’m talking about the abundance of products you have in your cabinets and those in your client’s bathrooms.
We desperately need simplicity everywhere. That’s why I am committed to sharing my lifetime of skin health expertise and education with professionals like you.
It is so, so easy to get distracted these days. Not only in our personal lives but professionally, too. Everything is shiny. These trends are temporary and this is where we must be careful not to lose our credibility as licensed professionals.
However, one thing remains: Skin is Science.
This is my North Star and the reason clients, wholesale partners, and continuing education students have turned to me for their skin education for so many years.
